Support Us

Geevor is the last surviving example of a complete 20th century Cornish tin mine - your donation keeps our legacy going and our doors open to visitors all year round.

Pendeen Community Heritage is a small independent charity formed in 2000 by a group of local mining enthusiasts with the sole purpose of preserving Geevor Tin Mine.

We have a team of dedicated staff and volunteers and are passionate about our work at Geevor, as we invest time and money into preserving and developing the mine site for future generations. Tin mining was one of Cornwall’s great industries.

We seek your support towards:

  • The continuing conservation of the mining heritage of Geevor
  • Bringing in educational visits – from primary schools to universities – who can learn from our site
  • Creating sustainable employment for local people

Your Gift-aided admissions and all donations are invested back into the mine as we continue with this work.

PCH manages Geevor for the site owners, Cornwall Council, on a long term contract. We have nearly 200 members in the UK and across the world.

If you would like to support us, we would love you to become a Friend of Geevor and join the charity, Pendeen Community Heritage.  You will be able to join us online soon, but in the meantime, please contact us using the details below.

Membership entitles you to free entry to Geevor, and you can also bring friends with you who will receive 10% off their admission price. You will also be able to enjoy a 10% discount in our shop as well as food and drink in the Count House Cafe.
