Exhibitions (and experiences)
Oral History Archive – Online Exhibition
Nearly 20 years ago former Geevor miner Cyril Honey and the Geevor Learning Department began to conduct recorded interviews with former miners and characters from the local area. This exhibition samples some of those moments spent sharing in times of the past.
Crosscut by James Barber
Crosscut is a multisensory, otherworldly experience that immerses the audience in the sights, sounds and atmosphere of the subterranean world of mining.
The Cornish Diaspora and the Resilient Women of St Just and Pendeen (Online Only)
Much has quite rightly been written about the ‘Cousin Jacks’, however, extraordinarily little has been written about the impact that this economic migration had on their wives.
Geevor VR Tour
Working with Soundview Media and Heritage Ability, we have created an accessible VR tour of Geevor that gives access to parts of the eighteenth century mine-workings, the mill, and a bird's eye view of our breath-taking coastline. The VR Tour allows visitors who may once have been unable to access all of Geevor the chance to explore from a unique perspective.
