February 2025 has seen the reopening of our newly refurbished Count House Cafe We are delighted with the transformation and we can't wait for you to visit! This work is the final stage of our project 'Geevor Café: re imagination, improvement and new space creation' which has already seen the opening of our new takeaway outlet 'Mossel'

Wednesday October 2nd 2024 was a momentous day in the history of Geevor Tin Mine when Pendeen Community Heritage welcomed St Hilary School as the one millionth visitor since it opened as a museum and visitor attraction in 1993. We are proud of our award-winning learning programme, so it is very fitting to celebrate this occasion with the next generation of mining enthusiasts!
This is an incredible milestone for everyone that has been involved with Geevor, from the time of converting the closed mine into a mining museum, to the multi-award winning visitor experience that it is today.
